INGENIA at Institución Universitaria UMAYOR: young talent building smart solutions

The School of Architecture and Engineering of the Institución Universitaria UMAYOR presents INGENIA, an academic gathering where Architecture, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Engineering come together to share knowledge, experiences and ideas.

Innovation is also built in the classroom

Students from the Computer Engineering program impress with home automation prototypes that include sensors able to detect conditions in their surroundings and trigger actions on their own, showing how technology becomes smart solutions for everyday life.

Projects you can see and touch

Besides the smart home, students presented robotic vehicle prototypes they built and programmed themselves, with control boards, motors and sensors.
